Akant with a new Sales Director. Dominik Tuszyński took the position and – since October – he has become responsible for the work of the entire Sales Department at Akant. The fact that such an experienced leader joins the ranks of the leading Polish manufacturer of window blinds highlights the company’s constant drive towards development.
Akant has been focusing on development and innovation for many years. This applies not only to the products offered, but also to the team forming the enterprise. Dominik Tuszyński, the new Sales Director at Akant, perfectly fits this vision and is described by his colleagues as a “high-class manager with extensive sales knowledge and above-average soft skills”. His main task is to supervise the sales structure of Akant products in Poland and abroad. The new Director will be responsible for the company’s strategy and development, as well as for the comprehensive management of the Sales Department.
– The goals and strategies for the coming years must take into account the currently changing reality. The pandemic has shown that the things we used to take for granted require constant verification and that change is our companion. The first challenges in the new position are related to the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic – says Dominik Tuszyński, Sales Director at Akant. – Importantly, the premiere of the Cosimo 2.0 pleated blind system is going to happen soon. The cover reflects the minimalist and functional trends dominating in the interior design market. I have no doubt that, similarly to the first version of the Cosimo pleat, this one will also be an absolute hit. In the coming years, Akant will certainly increase its share on the Polish market. However, this is not our only goal as we intend to expand into foreign markets in an equally dynamic manner. I can’t talk about everything at this stage, but one thing is certain – we are strongly accelerating.
Dominik Tuszyński is a Manager by profession and passion. He finished a master’s degree in management at the University of Management and Banking in Poznań. He knows the window blinds’ industry very well, as he has been associated with it for over 10 years. He started his career at a regional manufacturer of external and internal roller blinds as a technical and sales advisor. He also gained experience in the industry as a sales representative. For the last few years, he has been professionally associated with the French company Somfy Sp. z o. o., offering comprehensive solutions in the field of home automation, where he held the position of the Regional Sales Manager. Excellent results, knowledge and commitment made him an Area Sales Manager. He was responsible for shaping the sales policy in northern Poland.
The work at Akant Sp. z o. o. is the next chapter. Experience at various levels in the industry has made Dominik Tuszyński perfectly familiar with the market and its needs. He is able to look at the sale of blinds from many perspectives, which will certainly help him in fulfilling the tasks set for the Sales Director. When asked about what is most important to him at work, he didn’t hesitate for a moment with the answer.
– The people, of course – says Dominik Tuszyński, Sales Director at Akant Sp. z o. o. – We can do a lot individually, but you can achieve far more with a good team. Cooperation, mutual motivation and empathy create an atmosphere in which you achieve your goals faster, an atmosphere thanks to which you can go much further.
Akant sets a course for the future, and the new direction will be set by an experienced strategist. He will surely discover many new lands.
